Marcus Barnett's roller coaster ride of a football career has been filled with enough highs and lows to make even the most avid thrill seeker throw his hands in the air and scream for mercy, but the free spirited twenty-two year old has taken every emotional peak and valley in stride and now has a chance to end his sojourn on the highest of plateaus as he prepares this week to return to the Bearcat starting line-up. The senior sat down with Bearcat Lair after Wednesday's practice to reflect on the last five years.

Greetings Bearcat Faithful!!! Well my fellow Bearcatians, September and the 2010 football season is finally here and your UC Bearcats are eager to DEFEND their back to back Big East Championship!!! I would be remiss if I didn't give a final shout out to what that TEAM accomplished on their way to an undefeated season and a second straight BCS Bowl appearance. It was truly a special year and one that I am sure all Bearcat fans will cherish and remember for eternity....maybe longer!
