Carey working hard toward NFL dream

Written by Scott Springer

Wednesday's Pro Day at Nippert Stadium was as crowded as I've ever seen.  Much like last year, the weather turned out perfect with temperatures hovering around 60 and no rain.  While it wasn't public, there's only so much you can do to keep fans out of Nippert, so the guys had plenty of coaches, scouts and media on the turf, as well as the passers-by in the stands.

2010 Spring Football Linebacker Preview

Written by Tim Adams

Of the ten Bowl Championship Series bowl participants last season, the Cincinnati defense was easily the worst in "Total Defense."  Seven of the BCS bowl schools were ranked among the top fourteen in the country while Oregon at No. 35 and Georgia Tech at No. 54 still managed to finish in the upper half of the 120 FBS institutions.  But the Bearcats finished in the bottom half at No. 67, which also placed them dead last in the Big East Conference.

2010 Spring Football Preview- D-Line

Written by Tim Adams

Spring football in 2010 should prove very interesting for both players and coaches as the two groups get more familiar with each other, and some personnel could even see a position change as the new UC staff assesses each individual's skills.

With only three days until national signing day, Cincinnati added a quality receiver on Sunday when Pike High School’s Anthony McClung informed Bearcat Lair that he has switched his verbal commitment from Louisville to the two time defending Big East champions.
